NEW BUDGET FLAGSHIP FROM NOKIA- NOKIA X6



The New Budget Flagship Smartphone from Nokia keeps our mouth wide open as they decided to stun us with  a beautiful phone at a low price tag. The trending notch display introduced is one of the specs of this great phone I liked (except you don't like the notch display. The Nokia X6 comes with a the latest Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 processor and 4gb and 6gb ram variant that should handle the daily tasks you throw at it. Below is a review of the Phone:

DISPLAY

The Nokia X6 spots a 5.8 inch LCD IPS screen of 18:9 with a resolution of 2280x x 1080 pixels. This specs should provide you with crisp display and well toned colors and Nokia did well to protect this awesome display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. So generally the display is sweet and beautiful considering it is also a notch display.

BODY

The 5.8 inch notch display gives the Nokia X6 a dimesion of about 147.2 x 71 x 8 millimeters, this shouldn't make the device too hard to hold and handle. The X6 comes in black, white and blue variants, although I prefer the black and also considerably light at a 153 gram weight.

CONNECTIVITY

The phone comes with 2G, 3G and 4G LTE network. WLAN - WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, WiFi Direct, Hotspot. It follows the new trend of the USB type C port and support Bluetooth 5.0.

STORAGE

The Nokia X6 comes in two variants- The 4GB variant with 32gb Internal Storage and the 6GB variant that comes with 64gb storage.

PROCESSOR

One of the eye catching specs of the Nokia X6 is the trending Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636, 1.8GHz Kryo 260 Octa-core. This should handle most apps you throw at it..

EXPANDABLE STORAGE

The X6 has a Hybrid Sim tray with expandable storage that supports MicroSD card with up to 256gb.



CAMERA

A phone with no clear camera to most folks out there is like an egg roll with no egg in it; it simply just loses its value to them. But luckily to such folks, the Nokia X6 excels in this department. Spotting a dual rear camera of 16 megapixels + 5 megapixels for taking clear shots, the X6 produces good shots. The front camera which is also a 16 megapixels shooter does a good job in taking good daylight photos but not so well in low light conditions. Generally, the X6 has a great camera.

BATTERY

This is where the Nokia X6 falters; with a 3060mah Battery, it can barely last a day. I was expecting at least 3500mah or 4000mah for a phone this great.


CONCLUSION

The Nokia X6 is a great phone one should go for if you are in for the camera and great specs but if you are in for great battery life, I will recommend the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro which is a rival with the Nokia X6.
