XIAOMI REDMI 6 PRO – THE BUDGET GAME CHANGER (THE REVIEW)
Just released two months ago is
the budget game changer, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. After Releasing the Redmi 5
Pro, the Redmi 6 Pro was released as a cheaper successor. Seems odd right? Because
most succeeding smartphones are usually more expensive than their predecessor.
Although, the Redmi 5 pro has a better processor and front camera, the Redmi 6
pro still kept up to its place as a successor. Please read the down for the
complete Review.
GENERAL
Release June 2018, with a 5.84
inch trending notch display and the usual 4000mah battery capacity, Xiaomi
released a successor to the Redmi 5 Pro, and unveiled the Redmi 6 pro.
DISPLAY
The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a
5.84 (1080x2280) notch display. The notch display is the new trend in the Redmi
series. I really don’t know why it was introduced in the Redmi Note 6 but I
think Xiaomi wanted to move with the trend and also it’s an upgrade to the Note
5 pro. The 5.84 inch screen packs a 432 pixel per inch screen resolution.
HARDWARE
A 2ghz octa-core of the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 625 Processor is the brain of the New smartphone from xiaomi. A
3GB/4GB RAM makes the device run smoothly. Although the predecessor, the Note 5
pro runs on the new 626 processor with the same RAM variant, the 6 Pro is still
super fast and doesn’t lag especially when you go for the 4GB variant.
CAMERA
This is the section where the
Older model seems to surpass the newer model on paper. The Redmi Note 5 pro
spotted a dual camera- a 12 megapixel primary sensor and a 5 megapixel
secondary sensor. The Front camera spots a 20 megapixel sensor. This is the
same spec we have on the Redmi 6 pro except for the from camera which was
reduced to a 5 megapixel shooter. Although no much difference can be noticed
the 6 pro compared to the front shooter of the Redmi note 5 pro, the Note 6 pro
still has a splendid camera. One of the reasons I love the Xiaomi brand
generally is how their smartphone camera fare in low light conditions and the
Xiaomi Note 6 pro is no different.
SOFTWARE:
The New flagship runs on the
latest Android 8.1 and the Xiaomi MIUI 9 Android skin which is very easy to
navigate around.
SENSORS:
The Redmi Note 6 pro has a rear
mounted Fingerprint sensor, a accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and
compass sensor.
BATTERY:
One of the major strengths of the Redmi
Note 6 pro is the magnificient battery life. The 4000mah Battery is strong enough
to last you more than a day if you are an intense power user but even more for
light users.
CONCLUSION:
This smartphone changes the game
generally for all budget smartphone because of its up to date specs at a
relatively low price. I think Xiaomi has brought out their Budget king. We’re
still waiting for other brands. Thanks for reading the review please ask
questions in the comment section. I’m still Your Adviser.
